Q: How would you describe your artistic style in 5 words?

A: Provactive, dark and tongue-in-cheek

Q: Which topics does your art revolve around?

A: Love, life, dreams, sex, rebellion, dancing, socio-politics, freedom of expression and the realm of sonic frequencies!

Q: Where do you draw your inspirations from?

A: Everywhere! I try to stay open to inspirations whether the most minute and mundane detail of day-to-day life or even a song in the charts. I guess, sonically, I love experimental electronic music, I love punk ethos & the whole goth subculture too. I love hip hop, I listen to a lot of alternative female rap. I guess it's the same for fashion and my art in terms of blending all these influences from the world around me and just taking my own spin on it. Everything. When I sit down and write a song I kind of just feel it out and I wait for inspiration to come to me.

Q: Are there any other upcoming artists you're loving right now?

A: I don't really classify them as upcoming artists, but Azealia Banks, CupcakKe and Sophie are amazing. I love pretty much the whole of the PC Music world. There's a load of great artists I'm into, I wouldn't know where to start! I love Princess Nokia, Happy Colours, Malibu Mitch, TT The Artist, Dai Burger, A.G. Cook, TroyBoi, Spice, Madeline Wood, Asian Doll, Amelia Arsenic, Emily Franklin, Question, Nana, Bone Cult, Farai, $waggot, Ray Noir, Skinny Girl Diet, Bbymutha.

Q: Who would you love to collaborate with in the future?

A: Azealia Banks, Grimes, Brooke Candy, M.I.A. and anyone associated with PC Music. I just think we would make the sickest, freshest art.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 2 years?

A: Doing bigger festivals and making the craziest, most super-dimensional music, ever.

Q: What do you class as success in the art world and life in general?

A: I don't really think about it. Just going with the flow and being able to be present. I don't know what the end goal is and I don't care about it, really. As long as I have good people around me and I can be in control of my own day. I try not to think about what success means. I think once I start worrying about it I'll start creating bad art. I don't care about the art world. People can accept me or not, it's not in my control nor is it my business. I just create. As long as I still have energy in me to keep creating fun shit, I guess success is having fun. For me, anyway. I don't need success in the art world to define success for myself. Success for myself right now is carrying on doing what I'm doing.

Q: How would you encourage those who aren't necessarily comfortable coming out of their comfort zone to do so?

A: You have to be unbashfully you. You have this energy in you that you deserve to express and doing so is inspirational and impactful regardless of public perception.  If you're not around people who can appreciate you and respect you, realise there are people that accept you.  Energy spreads, so if you're coming from a place of loving yourself and expressing yourself, you're doing the world some good by spreading some sunshine.
Be yourself, be whatever the fuck you want to be as long as you value a one-love ethos. Nothing else really matters. One life innit.

Q: As a young creative, what motivates you to keep going?

A: How shit most art is.

Q: What advice would you give people trying to make it in the creative world?

A: Be kind, support others, be a diva, work really fucking hard and keep your fingers crossed.
If you want to make it into the creative world then create things.
Make sure these things are good.
If you fail, try again. Try ten thousand times.
I try and show people how much I love music and how much it means to me.
If you're trying to get in the industry with the sole intent of becoming rich or famous then I think you should stop making art.
